Our Unit headquarters is located in Montague Street, Fairy Meadow. It consists single-storey brick building housing our Operations Centre, training rooms, offices and a welfare area. Outside we have a shed which houses a small maintenance workshop, some storage areas and a couple of our vehicles. We've recently added a couple of portable buildings to cater for the additional storage and training requirements as the size of our Unit has increased in recent years.

We have a number of training areas that we have developed over the years including a 25 metre high tower and a confined space area which is just being completed.

Our Operations Centre is the focal point during any operation that the Unit undertakes. We make heavy use of computer and communication technology to ensure the effective and timely response to the community.
